A 10-member medical delegation of Taiyuan Aier Eye Hospital went to Zuoquan county, Shanxi province on June 30 for carrying out free eye checkups and treatment to a local publicity team of visually-impaired people.
Founded in 1983, the publicity team consisting of visually-impaired members has been committed to introducing latest policies of the central government to villages in the county.
Bringing professional detecting instrument and medicine, the doctors gave diagnosis and comprehensive treatment suggestions to the members. In addition, the members were presented with special eyeglasses. The hospital put forward a preferential medical treatment for their future therapy.
