Scenic spots in North China's Shanxi province are to offer a discount to tourists from Sep 18 to Sep 25 as the 2017 Shanxi Tourism Development Conference will open in Jinzhong city, Shanxi province on Sep 20, according to Shanxi Provincial Tourism Development Commission.
According to the policy, all the scenic spots in Shanxi will offer free admission to those who hold a guest card, press card, representative card or an employee's card for the conference.
Tourist sites in Jinzhong are to offer half-price tickets to tourists from both home and abroad, while there is a discount for other cities in Shanxi province of 30 percent.
The 2017 Shanxi Tourism Development Conference will be held in Jinzhong from Sept 20 to 25. The first Shanxi Tourism Development Conference was held in Datong in Shanxi in 2016.
