Her Village, an international forum centered on women's happiness, will be held in Shanxi province on Nov 5, according to a news conference on Oct 14 in Beijing.
The forum's theme will be "stimulating her and his strength in the age of changes". It aims to guide women, enhance their happiness and health and explore their potential.
Notable social figures will share their experiences and life insights with audiences as well as show the latest research results in fields related to women rights and well-being.
"How to maintain the balance between career and family often puzzles women in modern society," said Yang Lan, one of the initiators of the forum. "We hope to help female fellows find their potential and social stands, gaining happiness from their inner world."
The forum will also highlight the important role of women in advancing social development.
"Our company cannot operate smoothly without female employees working in production, management and sales departments. Their tenacity is in no way inferior to that of male staff," Liu Weihua, vice manager of Fenjiu Group and one sponsor of the sub-forum in Shanxi, told reporters at the news conference.
The first international women's forum set in China, Her Village International Forum, is now in its third year. The forum is committed to helping realize the self-growth of women and improving their social status, while promoting gender equality and furthering communication between Chinese women and foreign females.
