The park covers an area of 3,000 mu (2 square kilometers) and enjoys a convenient transport system. It's adjacent to Datong and Binhedong roads.
The park underwent transformation during 2001-2004 and had a 386-mu artificial lake developed. The lake has 280,000 cubic meters of water reserves and eight bridges.
The park is home to more than 100,000 evergreen and deciduous trees, as well as an open 80-mu bird garden, the only one of its kind, and a 500-mu nine-hole golf course in line with international standards. Visitors can rent bikes at the park, which is an ideal place for spring outings.
