The Datong Wenmiao Temple, in the old city of Datong, Shanxi province, has become a new cultural highlight that is not only a scenic spot but also is a place for developing traditional Chinese culture and is expected to be a good place for students in Datong to learn about Chinese philosophy, history, archaeology, literature, and language.
It is also a site for patriotic and ethical education and has been praised for its public welfare activities and has had various cultural activities for Chinese festivals for several years now, especially for the New Year, and the Spring Festival. This year, it will have guessing games, hide-and-seek contests to give visitors a lasting impression of traditional Chinese culture.
