The 2014 China International Rubber Industry Expo will be held at the Qingdao International Convention Center, in the city of Qingdao, Shandong province, Oct 15-18, and is expecting thousands of enterprises from around the world to take part.

The Expo, whose theme is “Smart Rubber”, will be covering digitized factories, 3D printing technology, robotics and automation and will be conferring a Golden Rubber Award to selected participants from the rubber industry.

Running consecutively with the Expo will be a 2014 World Rubber Forum for which the organizers have invited experts and scholars from China and abroad to discuss difficult problems in the industry.

Organizers of the Expo are the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, China Rubber Industry Association and Qingdao Rubber Valley Co. It is most authoritative event in China’s rubber industry and has been taking place for 14 years to address the needs of the chemical and rubber industry with a global perspective and to introduce experts and technology to promote the rubber business.
