Qingdao hosted an unveiling ceremony for a Technology Transfer Center for the Chemical Rubber Industry on July 11, Qingdaonews.com reported.

The Chemical Industry Productivity Promotion Center of China, China Technology Exchange and Rubber Valley signed the cooperation agreement. Six universities, including Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Shandong University, are strategic partners for the center.

The center will focus on the integration of manufacturing and research in the chemical rubber industry. It will introduce fine projects for frontier markets and talents and facilitate partner universities and institutes to transform scientific achievements into manufacturing.
