Changbai Mountain, in Jilin province, famous for its snowy landscape, snow-capped peaks, hot springs, changing weather, and winter activities, is attracting more tourists for sightseeing and skiing and considers this the best season for travelers.

The provincial tourism bureau reports 3.13 million visitors to Changbai Mountain in the past year, with winter tourism accounting for 12 percent of that figure. And many visitors see Changbai Mountains as the perfect escape from the fast-paced life in big cities because the snowy mountains, the cold, and the crisp air take away the fatigue and refresh the body and mind.
