Gong and drum performance
As winter is the best season for plum blossoms, Wuxi's Plum Garden is always a popular tourist attraction during the Spring Festival. The garden has 40 species of plum trees on the mountain with more than 4,000 plum trees throughout the garden.
In this year's holiday, a distinctive event themed on gong and drum, two of China's traditional percussion instruments and among the country's intangible cultural heritages, will be held in the Plum Garden, to add to the festival atmosphere.
Time: from Feb 5 to 10, the first day to the sixth day of Chinese Lunar New Year
Location: 13 Bianjiawan, West Liangxi Road, Binhu district, Wuxi
Tickets: 60 yuan ($9) for a single ticket
Opening hours: 6:00 – 18:00
