Bean curd jelly is a traditional Wuxi snack. Freshly cooked in a wide-mouthed jar, it is sold while still warm and tender.
The snack is served with a number of condiments such as boiled soy sauce, chopped scallions, nori, small dried shrimps, shredded pickled vegetables, sugar and sesame oil. It has become one of Wuxi’s most popular flavor snacks for all ages.
