3D zebra crossings for Hohhot

A resident of Hohhot was surprised to see a special zebra crossing on the road of Guangming Street, in front of Hohhot's Second Experimental Primary School.
"It is my first time to see such a kind of zebra crossing," the woman said.
This particular zebra crossing, painted yellow, white and blue, appears three-dimensional.
The 3D zebra crossings are designed to alert drivers as they drive across the intersection, according to Liu Jia, an official from Hohhot's public security bureau.
The 3D zebra crossings are planned for some sections of the city's roads and on the streets in front of some schools, including those in front of Xincheng Hotel, Sheraton Hotel and Jinjiang Hotel, Liu said.
