Innovation competition comes to Inner Mongolia

The 5th China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition (Inner Mongolia regional division) will take place in Hohhot in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, June 20 – July 20, the Inner Mongolia press office announced on June 3, saying that this will be the first time the region has organized such an event.

The competition will select projects in six areas of new materials, new energy and energy saving, biomedical equipment, electronic information, high-tech manufacturing, and Internet and mobile devices, and the region will provide financial support , resource sharing, project matching and training to those selected.

Divided into individual company and group categories, the competition has several stages: applications, preliminary contests, intermediate contests, due diligence, division finals, national finals and an awards ceremony.

Applications can be made only through the competition's official website by June 12, according to the organizer.

Initiated jointly by the state Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, the China Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition has the highest-profile for events of its kind nationwide.
