A walking event at the Baotou Olympic center in the city of Baotou, on April 30, attracted thousands of enthusiasts showed up to help raise awareness of the need for fitness as well as leisure, as part of a program that runs through Sept 24, each Saturday. The organizers announce that they will be handing out 100 "walking stars" at the end.
