At the Laoniuwan national geological park in Qingshuihe county, near the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, at the juncture of the Inner Mongolian Plateau and the Loess Plateau with the Yellow River flowing through, still with ice on it, a combination that creates a natural splendor in the park.

High-speed train debuts in Inner Mongolia
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
