This project, in Changsha county’s Muyun Industrial Park, calls for building one of the world’s most important data facilities for processing information, technical and service innovations, and developing their own networking products. It will provide data safety, project, and training services to for Changsha’s data industry development. The idea for the park comes from the Changsha Green Apple Co, which is in data outsourcing, and will make full use of its human resources and policies for software development. Green Apple was founded in 1991 as one of China’s first digitization companies and has handled 100 large digitization projects in the intervening years. And it has diversified to become a leading digitalized product maker and content supplier, covering the entire industrial chain, with 18 projects worth 1 billion yuan.

It will have 500,000 sq m of floor space. there will be 160,000 sq m for software production and related facilities built in the first phase; 240,000 sq m of living space in a second phase; and a 100,000-sq-m office building built in a third phase. Construction work began in 2010 and was completed in 2013. Land acquisition, old building demolition, road construction, power and water supplies, field engineering and main facility pile driving were all completed in 2010.

Project managers are looking for high-tech companies in data management, call centers, game production, e-publishing, e-commerce, telecom value-added service systems, IT training, and animation, with favorable polices for modern service development.
