This hospital, alongside the Liuyang River to the east of the city of Changsha, is a large general hospital with 300 employees and 260 beds. It provides treatment for more than 100,000 patients per year, more than 10,000 of them admitted to hospital.
Its revenues are more than 70 million yuan a year. It has internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency treatment, minimally invasive treatment, digestive system, ophthalmology, dental, otolaryngology, skin disease, rehabilitation, and HIV/AIDS screening departments. It takes care of more than 400,000 people living in the Jiangbei, Ganshan, Huangxing, Langli, and Huanghua areas and eastern suburbs.
