CEEC-constructed Chanddrapur No.1 generator unit connected to the grid

On Sep 2 India local time, the No.1 unit of the CEEC-constructed Indian Chanddrapur 2*300MW power generation project was successfully put into operation and connected to the grid.

Maximum shaft vibration of each bearing bush of the turbine is only 0.04 millimeters, meeting the highest domestic standard. The temperature of each bearing bush is 65-85 ℃ and the unit is in safe and smooth operation.

Construction of No.1 unit was started on 18 April 2011. In a matter of just a little more than two years, all milestone engineering works were completed and the unit is now put into operation almost without defect.
