Main transformers installed in FAN Hydropower Station of Ethiopia

On Nov 16, the CGGC-constructed FAN Hydropower Station in Ethiopia saw installment of two main transformers.

FAN Hydropower Station, located in the Blue Nile basin, northwest of the capital city Addis Ababa is equipped with two 48500 kilowatts water turbine generators. The two transformers installed are three-phase double-winding forced oil-circulated air-cooled step-up transformer with the maximum load of 52 tons.

The FAN Project Department elaborated construction plan against the insufficient site width and successfully completed the installment and won high praise of the client.
