Zhu Dongru comes among world 60 most influential people in the international water power and dam construction

Recently, the International Water Power & Dam Construction, an influential magazine in the world's water power and dam construction sector, has announced the 60 most influential persons in the international water power and dam construction.

Zhu Dongru, general manager of the Southeast Asia Branch of CGGC International is the only Chinese that has come among the top 60.

The International Water Power & Dam Construction, formerly known as the Hydraulic Power Generation, was founded in 1949 and is published by Wilmington Business Publishing based in Britain. It is a famous magazine in the international water conservancy and hydropower sector.

The current rating is based on the decisive role that has been played in the development of the global water conservancy and dam sector over the past 60 years, nominated by experts and readers around the world and strictly reviewed by the expert group. Finally, the 60 most influential persons in the international water power & dam construction field have been rated.

During his 30-year career in the waterpower sector, Zhu Dongru has successively participated in the construction of the large water conservancy hub projects in China, including the Three Gorges Project and the Gezhouba Dam. In 2006, he participated in the construction of the Yeywa Hydropower Station in Myanmar as the project manager. Under his leadership, the dam was finished with high quality half a year ahead of schedule, thanks to scientific planning, lean management and excellent work style. The hydropower station, after being put into production, will boost the total installed capacity in Myanmar by nearly 50 percent.

The International Water Power & Dam Construction magazine commends Zhu Dongru that "he has been making the unremitting effort for the dam and hydropower projects in China and the Southeast Asia".
