CGGC ranks among the Top 20 Competitive Listed Companies at home

At the China Business Journal 2009 Annual Meeting on Enterprise Competitiveness held days ago, CGGC ranked 7th among the 2009 Top 20 Competitive Listed Companies.

The annual meeting is jointly held by China Business Journal and the Institute of Industrial Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Besides the Report on Competitiveness of Listed Chinese Enterprises released thereon, the meeting has another highlight, namely the announcement of the top 20 competitive listed companies which is the highest honor for outstanding listed companies.

Since CGGC merged its holding company and was listed as a whole in 2007, it has constantly adjusted it industrial structure, stridden forward to new promising fields while consolidating the traditional market of hydropower construction. Besides, it has further standardized its business management according to the requirement for listed companies and enhanced its core competitiveness.

Thanks to these efforts, CGGC has survived from the rampant impact of global financial crisis, maintained a sound and fast development momentum, stably but rapidly increased its business performance, and significantly raised its competitiveness.
