CGGC installs the first China-made Turbo-genrator set in TGP

On June 6, 2007, CGGC installed the first China made Turbo-generator set in TGP right power station and enter into inspection and acceptance stage, it is expected to be put into operation this June.

26# unit in TGP right plant is the first 700 MW turbo-generator set developed and installed successfully in China with introduced and digested foreign techniques, marking the world-class turbo-generator designed, manufactured and installed independently by China.

TGP Power Station is the largest one in the world with 32 of 700MW units, among which 14 at left plant, 12 at right plant and 6 at underground plant; Thus the total installed capacity will be 22400 MW. 14 units in left plant has been put into operation on Sep.16,2005, one year ahead of schedule, 12 turbo-generators in right plant was installing recently, among which 8 China made unit was contracted by CGGC .
