RCC works of Myanmar Yeywa Hydropower Project fulfilled ahead the 2006 schedule

On Dec 28，2006, Yeywa Project Department completed a total RCC of 625,000 m3, 3 days ahead to fufil 2006 contracted schedule, created a favorable achievments for Yeywa Hydropower Station.

2006 is the key year for Yeywa hydropower project (LOT CW2) construction. All of the staffs and workers overcame a lot of difficulties to carry out the schedule, special emphasis has been put on the key points of concrete construction.

The concrete conveyor system was maintained and completed in time to ensure the normal operation of the equipments. The daily output reached 5240 m3 and maximum shift output reached 3000m3. During the concrete conveyor system put into operation in early December 2006, the Yeywa Project Manangementt strengthened the construction organization and management on site as well as the communication with the Employer and Engineer to obtain their understanding and assistance, which enabled to complete the contracted schedule and accelerate the concrete placement.

In order to expedite the construction progress, the Yeywa Project Deptartment organized the working competition of “Safety, Good Quality, High Efficiency and Best Project” among staffs and labor teams, encouraged for early completion of the contracted year plan, guaranteed the progress and quality of construction, this has been highly praised by the related authorities of Myanmar Government.
