The Planning and Construction Bureau and the Finance Bureau of Huaqiao International Service Business Park have jointly issued a circular on special funds for energy-efficient and green buildings in Huaqiao.

The financial service outsourcing base in Huaqiao was recognized as an energy-efficient and green building demonstration zone in Jiangsu province and obtained special funding of 34.56 million yuan ($5.45 million) in 2010.

This time, a panel, made up of the Planning and Construction Bureau, the Finance Bureau and experts in energy-saving construction, will assess application projects in Huaqiao to ensure subsidies are used on those which pass assessment.
