The modern service industry has been increasing in presence at the Huaqiao International Service International Park over the first half of this year, according to the statistics released by Kunshan Information Bureau.

In the first half of the year 167 industrial projects were introduced into Huaqiao.

Among them, 11 were investments by foreign firms whose registered capital totaled 182 million dollars with six projects each worth over 10 million dollars invested by six major service outsourcing enterprises including Guoji Real Estate, NSK China Investment Co Ltd and Global Data Solutions.

The other 156 projects were invested by private enterprises, whose registered capital totaled 1.01 billion yuan, with four projects each worth over 100 million yuan invested by four major enterprises including Camelot and Shenzhen GTJA investment Group.

Over the past half year, the revenue of the service industry made by the major enterprises was 794 million yuan, 70.49% higher than the same period last year.

The contract capital of service outsourcing reached 500 million yuan, over 5 million dollars of which were made through offshore outsourcing services.
