On Feb 20, Liu Quansheng, a member of the standing committee of the Pingdingshan municipal Party committee and secretary of the Ruzhou municipal Party committee, made an official visit to Runan Industrial Cluster. Liu was joined by Wang Yingmin, secretary-general of the standing committee of the Ruzhou municipal Party committee, and Hu Hongxian, vice-mayor of Ruzhou in Central China’s Henan province.

The delegation’s schedule included stops in Ruzhou Zhongyue Science and Technology Ceramic Glaze-Making Co, Henan Huasheng Raw Aluminum Co and other projects in the cluster.

Li learned details about the progress, technologies, market prospects and environmental standards during his visit to Ruzhou Zhongyue Science and Technology Ceramic Glaze-Making Co, a project launched at the end of 2013 with an investment of 220 million yuan ($36.1 million) in the first phase.

He encouraged the enterprise to make use of development opportunities and to build a research and development institution for more market-targeted products.

In his following visits, he showed great interest in the enterprises’ production processes, product quality and operation. He also focused on hygiene and environmental measures.

He concluded that the top task of Runan Industrial Cluster this year is to push ground-breaking and construction of new projects. Also he urged the full utilization of the cluster’s advantages in industrial clustering, resources recycling, preferential policy and public facilities to support vigorous development.
