16. Urban Synthetic Carrying Capacity Studying of Langfang City
I. Project Content
Study Langfang urban synthetic carrying capacity from the following aspects: 1. Study urban population carrying capacity, analyze population capability and employment, establish a warning system for population quantity and structure and allocate production and living elements scientifically. 2. Study urban infrastructure capacity, analyze the status quo of municipal infrastructure facilities and public service facilities, calculate the demand for infrastructure facilities, establish a time and region indicating system and direct the infrastructure input and construction. 3. Study land endurance, analyze land amounts and utilization, and estimate the industrial use of land. 4. Study relative sub-projects, focusing on land market input, real estate development, resource utilization and environmental protection. These studies will be designed to reveal the restriction elements in urban development of Langfang City and outstanding problems that have occurred in the development process, and then analyze the causes of such challenges. On the basis of single elements and comprehensive analysis and evaluation, the plan calls for efforts to simulate the future urban development and adjust the future development conditions from the aspects of the speed of city development, city development scale, the behaviors of urban inhabitants and technological progress. Combining these factors with urban resources conditions, the project will put forward the method of improving urban carrying capability, crisis management strategies and policies.
II. Project Background
Urban carrying capability refers to the ability to support the development level of the economy and population within the framework of the city's infrastructure and natural and ecological resources. The city's development must depend on favorable location conditions and supporting resources, environment and infrastructure. Currently, the city is in a critical period of city development. On one hand, the city must be enlarged to meet the requirements of developing the economy rapidly. On the other hand, large amounts of energy and resources will be used to construct many urban infrastructures to meet the requirements of production and living, which makes the conflict between urban development and the environment more obvious. Therefore, it is an important task to improve the city's carrying capability.

Evaluate the status quo of the city's carrying capability scientifically, quantify it to forecast and analyze every carrying capacity, and put forward measures to improve the city's synthetic carrying capability.

17. Landscape Planning for Binjiang Road, Xingtai City
I. Project Content
In order to the city's landscape, promote the city's charm and improve its reputation, the project plans to construct a garden corridor in concert with the main channel of south-to-north water transfers to promote the city's special regional landscape and improve its road landscape.

III. Project Background
Binjiang Road is planned as one of the two garden avenues in Xingtai City. Its west section is near the main channel of south-to-north water transfers and its eastern section is downtown Xingtai City. With economic competition among cities becoming more apparent, the construction of the two garden avenues to improve the urban forestation level of Xingtai City will shape its feature and promote its value, increasing its competitiveness.
IV. Planning Requirements
1. The planning area with its south to the south ring road and north to Guoshoujin Street encompasses a total length of about 10km. Its western section is near the main channel of south-to-north water transfers and the urban green belt on its eastern edge is 30 meters to 50 meters.
2. Planning achievements content and degree of depth: The content mainly includes landscape planning, illumination, sketches and waterscape plans, planting analysis figures and plane figure, elevation drawings and scale drawings of important crossings and node regions at both sides of the road.
V. Cooperation Mode
With the competitive selection of blueprints to determine the planning unit, the unit with the best blueprint will be chosen for the planning process. All international and internal units with A-grade design qualifications for landscape and garden work can take part in the competition.

18. Town System Planning of "One City Five Towns", Xingtai City
I. Project Content
To accelerate the scientific development of Xingtai City, construct Great Xingtai City, improve the position of cities in southern Hebei Province, plan the town system of "one city and five towns" scientifically and form town development groups with rational distribution and clear functions.
