Guizhou Tianzhijing Tourism Development Co and Henan Yuhua Tourism Investment Co signed an investment agreement to build a passenger cableway, glass plank road and slide road in the Pingtang Tiankeng (an area of naturally formed pits) Scenic Spot in Guizhou on Aug 3.

During the early stages of negotiations, Pingtang county officials took the investor to inspect the scenic spot, and organized events to discuss project investment, laying a solid foundation for cooperation between the two parties.
The signing of the contract has further accelerated the development and utilization of tourism resources and helped improve tourism infrastructure, solving internal traffic problems and enhancing entertainment facilities in the scenic area.
Pingtang county is the most developed karst area in Southwest China, and it contains the most karst tiankengs of any region in the world.

In an area of just 20 square kilometers surrounding Longfeng Mountain, there are 12 tiankengs of various sizes, some with a depth of more than 300 meters. The highest altitude in the area is 1,137 meters, while the lowest is 548 meters.
The Dadaihe Tiankeng is 543.2 meters deep, about 1,800 meters across from north to south, about 1,700 meters across from east to west, and the bottom has an area of about 800,000 square meters. Its bottom is densely forested and contains a wide variety of rare animals and plants. It is the world's largest tiankeng.
