More than 1.7 million people have benefited from Guizhou’s medical policies which have provided big subsidies for people with low incomes since 2015, according the Health and Family Planning Commission.
Some four million people in the province qualify for subsidized medical care under the policy. As of now about 2.7 billion yuan has been used in subsidies to cover the medical expenses.
