Enterprises above the designated size in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region achieved 12 billion yuan ($1.77 billion) in industry output during the first four months of 2017, a year-on-year increase of 16.2 percent.

From January to April, the nonferrous metals industry rose by 15.9 percent, 1.7 percentage points more than that in the first quarter. Agricultural food processing increased by 11.7 percent, 1.1 percentage points more than that in Q1.

Meanwhile, compared to the same period of last year, nonmetal mineral products increased by 15.7 percent; alcoholic drinks rose by 5.3 percent and chemical raw materials and products jumped 10.5 percent.

Non-public enterprises netted 1.7 billion yuan more than the same period of last year in industry output during the first quarter of 2017. Twenty-two of 41 products in Hechi saw a decent increase from January to April.

Revenues of enterprises above designated size grew to 10.26 billion yuan during the first four months of this year, 23.3 percent more than the same period in 2016. And the profit rate of the revenue reached 11.3 percent, an increase of 1.76 percentage points compared to the same period last year.
