Gansu opens its first commodities exhibition hall at Horgos center

Gansu opened its characteristic commodities exhibition hall at the Horgos International Border Cooperation Center, located on the China-Kazakh border, on Jan 25.

During the opening event, thousands of special Gansu products containing export potential were exhibited at the commodities hall, including agricultural products, traditional Chinese medicines and handcrafts.

The Gansu exhibition hall attracted more than 200 businessmen from home and abroad to consult and purchase commodities at the first day of its opening.

The Gansu Commerce Department who sponsored the exhibition hall at the Horgos International Border Cooperation Center said that Gansu province is expected to take advantages of Horgos' ideal geographical position to promote its products to countries in Asia and Europe.
