Gansu entrepreneur opens a company in Russia

The manager of the Shufang Sachet and Embroidery Production Co, with HQ in the city of Qingyang, Gansu province, opened the Qinglong Trade Co, in the city of Minsk, the capital of Belarus, in NW Asia, on Nov 1, making her company the first Gansu private enterprise to get a business license there.

Bai Shufang got the idea for the shop this past August, when she visited a Gansu commodity fair that the provincial government held in Minsk as a member of the delegation, then did a lot of market research in the city and found out that the Belorussians were interested in Gansu products. Shufang Sachets mainly deals with the embroidery business and, during that, Bai sold 45,000 yuan worth of sachets and embroidery. That encouraged her, and she was determined to start a company there.
