One cake store located on Cuiyuan Road has gone a step further, and created a special Christmas product.

With Christmas Day around the corner, many cake stores in Pingtan county, Fujian province, are warming up for the festival and the expected boost in sales, and they have decorated their stores with festive lights, stickers, pine trees and bells – and some have installed Santa figures outside, in a bid to attract more customers.

One cake store located on Cuiyuan Road has gone a step further, and created a special Christmas product – a house 30 cm high and 19 cm in width and made of cake, candies, cookies and cream - which sells for 188 yuan ($31).

A store employee said that the candy house is especially popular with couples, and the store will display a bigger version – which will cost 888 yuan.
