Abstract: Industrial parks serve as important platforms and carriers for the realization of industrial transformation and high-quality economic development in Hohhot city. Based on the current development and future development trend of industrial parks, the authorities need to consolidate and enhance the parks’ development capability and foundation, strengthen the supporting factors in terms of talents, land and capital, and enhance the guarantee capability bolstered by relevant factors. They need to perfect the innovation system of parks, promote the deep integration of science and technology with economy, optimize the ecology of innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhance the innovation driving capability. They need to speed up the integration of industrial development with city planning, improve the function relating to living environment and industrial development, and intensify the attraction and bearing capacity. They need to refine the business environment of the parks, deepen the reform to streamline administration, delegate powers, and improve regulation and services, and heighten the service capability. In addition, they also need to promote the cooperation and opening up of the parks, actively link the parks’ development with the implementation of national strategy, enhance the capability of coordinated development; improve the planning implementation mechanism, strengthen overall planning and management, shore up problem assessment, coordinate the interests of related parties, push ahead with innovation in development models, flesh out the evaluation and assessment system, and augment the planning leading ability so as to provide a solid foundation and strong impetus for long-term sustainable development.
