Abstract: Facts show that there is a gradual increase in the number of waste resources recycling enterprises, and the aggregate assets, total liabilities and the weight of major types of recycled wastes have all been increased. The number of enterprises running in the red and the number of loss-making enterprises have both been reduced. The current value and growth rate of their revenue and cost from core business, selling and management expenses have reached the ceiling at the end of the year and will fall at the beginning of next year on an annual basis. The financial expenses have seen a relatively proportionate layout without major adjustment. The total and average profit of waste recycling industry as well as profit increase have witnessed a drop to different degree since 2015. All this indicates that the industry might face some development difficulties. The H-P filtering analysis suggests that the number of waste resources recycling industry above designated size, their aggregate assets and total liabilities as well as the weight of major types of recycled wastes will all be increased in the coming years. All in all, due to the integration of the Internet, the Internet of Things, big data and relevant modern information and technologies with recycling industry, the innovation in waste resources recycling industry will embrace a faster development and brighter future during the high-quality development period.
