DRC Book Series on “China’s Macro-economic Performance (2010): Global Climate Change and China's Mid-to-Long-Term Development” is based on the research findings on the contributing factor and development trend of climate change, ways to tackle climate change and address relevant issues relating to China's mid-to-long-term development, and the relations between structural adjustment, urbanization development, market-oriented reform of energy resources and foreign trade. A scenario analysis is made on China's participation in global greenhouse gas emission reduction initiative, and strategic measures are put forward in response to global climate changes. In addition, the book gives a systematic illustration of the policy measures adopted by some major countries on climate change as well as theoretical researches on climate change by economists from both home and abroad. The book includes an introduction to the recovery of world economy through green development. The book has eleven chapters.
