On December 5, President Li Wei met with a delegation headed by Mr. Henri Proglio, Chairman and CEO of French Power Group (EDF). President Li introduced the general thinking on reforms illustrated by the 3rd Plenum of 18th Central Committee of CPC. Both sides exchanged views on the cooperation between China and France in the field of power, as well as the issues of SOE reform. Those present at the meeting were Mr. Hou Yongzhi, Director General of Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy, Mr. Ge Yanfeng, Department of Social Development, Mr. Zhao Changwen, Director General of Research Institute of Enterprise, and Mr. Lan Weiban,Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department.
