A research team, led by Lu Wei, director-general of the Department of Techno-economic Research of the Development Research Center of the State Council, paid a visit to the city of Shenzhen to get a close look at its transformation and the industrial development with financial support, Sept 4 - 7.

The research team stopped at Kuang-Chi Institute of Advanced Technology, Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, as well as the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tencent. They also spoke with personnel from the finance department, development and reform committee, scientific innovation committee, and various companies.
