On January 9th, Vice President of DRC, Mr. Liu Shijin met with Dr. Richard L. Sandor, Chairman and CEO of the Chicago Climate Exchange. Dr. Sandor briefed on the development of Weather Derivatives in the USA and the two sides exchanged views on the perspective of Weather Derivatives and other issues. Among those attending the meeting were Ms. Ren Xingzhou, Director of DRC’s Institute of Market Economy, Ms. Wang Wei and Mr. Cheng Guoqiang, both Deputy Directors of the Institute, Ms. Zhang Chenghui, Deputy Director of DRC’s Research Institute of Finance and other researchers from DRC.
