On August 21th, Dr. Liu Shijin, Vice President of DRC met with the delegation of Free Democratic Party of Germany (FDP), headed by Dr. Guido Westerwelle, Chairman of the Party. Mr. Liu briefed the delegation on the macroeconomic performance and outlined the Eleventh Five-Year Plan in China. Dr. Liu also answered the questions from the guests on the energy-related issues, with supplementary comments from Dr. Feng Fei, Director General of Research Department of Industrial Economy of DRC. Mr. Wei Jianing, Deputy Director General of Department of Macroeconomic Research, Mr. Zhou Hongchun, Senior Research Fellow of Research Department of Social Development and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of International Cooperation Department of DRC were present at the meeting.
