Luxi Industrial Zone is one of the 30 provincial industrial zones approved by the Yunnan Provincial Government. The industrial zone is located in Luxi City, southeast of Dehong Prefecture, about 6 kilometers from the downtown area and 1.4 kilometers from the Mangshi Airport, bordering No.320 National Road and the projected Tran-Asian Railway.

Covering an area of 5.6 square kilometers, Luxi Industrial Zone has four sectors, namely a green agricultural product processing sector, a biological resource innovative industry sector, an exports and imports sector, and a modern logistics sector. The industrial zone is designed to attract enterprises in bio-medical industry, exports and imports processing industry, labor-intensive industry, and agricultural product deep processing industry.

Over 8 million yuan has been used to improve the infrastructure of the industrial zone, such as highways and power supply facilities.
