Restraining medical resource abuse

Zhang said the data shows whether a patient still needs further treatment, which could be measured by the diameter of tumor size from the medical imaging. The shrinkage of tumor volume indicated the recovery of the patient to avoid over treatment. For example, radiation therapy is one cancer treatment method that can be monitored by machine.

Such therapy is based on CT Images and largely delivered by computers and medical linear accelerator, which controls the period and type of treatment.

China is demandingfor high technology gigantically. Although many people told Zhang that the kicking offentrepreneurship is limited by the government-related connectionsin China, Zhang felt differently when he began his journey to start a company.

"Most people, including doctors and government officials, are all willingto change something for improving China's health care by advanced technology,"Zhang stressed, "Now I am more and more confident in my team and the direction we are going."

LinkingMed received a 12 million yuan ($1.73 million) investment on Dec 14, and has cooperated with several top hospitals including Sichuan Cancer Hospital and Navy General Hospital.
