The second industrial advanced technology seminar, focused on 5G technology and industrial applications, was recently held at the China Hall of Science and Technology in Beijing.

More than 1,200 delegates from branches of the Zhongguancun Tianhe Technology Promotion Center, industrial sectors of local governments and investment institutions attended the seminar and discussed the industrialization of 5G technology, which promises many entrepreneurship and investment opportunities.

The transmission speed of a 5G network can theoretically reach 10 GB per second, which is ten times faster than a 4G network. As 5G technology becoming more and more popular, intelligent cities, intelligent furnishings, intelligent plants and intelligent agriculture will gradually become more real.

The 2016 industrial advanced lecture is one of a series of activities focused on the marketization of research findings and industry upgrading.

The events as a whole are intended to provide entrepreneurs and investors with strategic guidance and be an exchange platform for scientists, technologists, local governments, investment institutions and industrial parks.

The activities will include 12 special topics: graphene technology and its industrialization prospects, 5G communication technology, technology to improve biological nutrition, 3D printing, industry 4.0, plant factory technology and its industrialization, energy storage techniques, big health industry, soil restoration techniques, intelligent robots, Beidou satellite communication technology and quantum communication.
