The 18th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo will be launched at the China International Exhibition Center from May 13 to 17. More than 140 Zhongguancun corporations will exhibit their products in the second pavilion.

Visitors can meet with the most cutting-edge and high-tech devices, such as the tiniest smart projector television, a scooter which can transmit information via LED lights, a smart vehicle-mounted terminal, and a smart thermometer that can continuously monitor body temperature.

This year is Zhongguancun's 17th expo. Under the theme of "lead the most cutting-edge technology and create the future", Zhongguancun shows its achievements in the innovative utilization of Internet in different industries and strategic emerging industries based in Internet Plus, such as big data applications, smart hardware, smart medicine, and smart energy.

In addition, Zhongguancun further promotes the idea of public entrepreneurship.

The Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology has launched the "China Entrepreneurship Leading Project" and "National Innovative and High Technology Internet Integration Project" in Zhongguancun.

Through the China Entrepreneurship Leading Project, Zhonggancun is expected to gather more entrepreneurs, professionals and resources, involve more diversified incubations, improve the professional entrepreneurship service, continue events on entrepreneurship, connect the operation pattern to market requirements, and form mature structure of the entrepreneurship resources.

In this way, Zhongguancun will attract more corporations with innovative technology and business models, which make the place the first choice for high tech start-ups.

In 2020, the number of entrepreneurs in Zhongguancun will exceed 200,000 including university and college students, experienced entrepreneurs, and oversea returnees.

The number of business incubators will exceed 80, with at least 500 spaces. The number of oversea entrepreneurship service institutions will exceed 50. The number of start-up industries by young people will exceed 20. The number of entrepreneurship community will exceed 10.

Through the National Innovative and High Technology Internet Integration Project, Zhongguancun will become home to cutting edge technology and off shore Internet services by 2020.

Zhongguancun will implement the ten largest projects of Internet Plus industrial innovation project, which including smart manufacturing, Internet finance, e-commercem smart logistics, smart construction, smart transportation, smart energy and environmental protection, smart medication and health services, smart agriculture, smart hardware, smart education, and smart communication.

The zone will accelerate the integration development of the Internet, the Internet of goods, cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence.

Second, Zhongguancun will launch innovative activities in corporate consulting and promotion. Such activities will focus on technological innovation, smart devices promotion, internet and information safety, industrial chain integration and innovative cooperation, new pattern cultivation, cross industry talent training, and entrepreneurship promotion.

Third, Zhongguancun will release a batch of measures promoting cross industrial integration and innovation. Zhongguancun will hold conferences to connect Zhongguancun with other innovative and high technology areas.

The 3,200 square meter exposition will be separated into eight areas - smart hardware, smart manufacturing, smart connection, smart environment, smart medication, smart agriculture, and smart daily life.

Simulating tourism routes, visitors will be led through the technological tour, smart tech tour, and business tour to experience technology from all aspects and angles.

Through life and workplace simulation, the expo will bring people's attention to hot issues such as air pollution management, garbage and waste management, pollution monitoring, soil repair, and traffic jams. The expo will integrate technological products with daily life.

The expo will also draw visitors' attention to entrepreneurs born in 1990s.
