ZHSHINE Solar is a high-tech company established in 2006 for solar photovoltaic (PV) technology development, manufacturing, and sales, with an investment of $50 million in an R&D and production center for silicon wafers, solar cells, solar modules, and solar PV systems. By the end of 2010, it had an efficient industrial chain with an annual cell module capacity of 300MW. Its vertically integrated business model gives it great advantages in the solar PV business.

Products & Projects

ZHSHINE Solar covers a 231,000-square–meter area, with a floor space of more than 50,000 sq m. It has 800 employees, 260 of whom are researchers with at least a bachelor's degree, 15 with a master’s degree, and three with PhDs, and 300 technicians.

The company's new STINGRAY modules use gallium, which keeps power loss between initial and final measurements to less than 5 percent over a 10–year period and below 10 percent over 20 years. This new technology brings greater value tor customers in investment payback and efficiency of solar energy stations. In 2013, the company had an annual production of 500MW, using international production equipment and technology for its wafers, cells and modules, along with automated welding and packaging machines, where product quality and capacity are guaranteed. PHOTON Laboratory compared the module products of around 100 top PV companies around the globe, in early 2011, and ZHSHINE's monocrystal line of 250W modules came in first in quality as a testimony to the company’s products.

The company set up a ZHSHINE PV Technology R&D Center, with Shanghai Jiaotong University and a postdoctoral ZHSHINE Scientific Research Base with the Beijing Instrument Industry (Group) Co and has built teams with many professionals, for a great leap forward in development and R & D capabilities. It has a High-tech Enterprise and, Privately Owned Technology Enterprise rating in Jiangsu Province, Top 100 Privately Owned Technology Enterprise and 4-star rating in the city of Changzhou, and a Top 10 Industrial Enterprises of Jintan, with a AAA bank credit rating. The company has also holds more than 60 patents that play an important part in its future development.

ZHSHINE has ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSMS18001 certification and products certification from TUV, UL, MCS and KEMCO and the endorsement of many insurance companies. It considers product quality, brand, environmental protection, social responsibility, creating value for customers and social responsibility to have the greatest importance and strictly follows the "green mission" and encourages the voluntary collection and recycling waste solar modules, similar to that of PV CYCLE, a European photovoltaic organization. ZHSHINE’s products are exported to Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Australia, South Korea, South Africa, the Middle East and other countries and regions. And, in future, it will continue with its innovation and brand building for greater international competitiveness and industrial scale and creating greater value for customers.
