To promote the image of Hefei in Anhui province as the "Great lake city" and "China's excellent tourism city", and enhance the development of tourism, Hefei Tourism Bureau recently called on the public to come up with a Hefei tourism slogan and matching logo.

Hefei's tourism slogan should reflect the essence of its historical heritage, its tourism attractions and capture the city's cultural spirit. It should be attractive, appealing and recognizable with an innovative theme. It should be simple, easy to remember, catchy, and easy to be translated (an English translated version is welcomed). The slogan should be no longer than 12 words.

Hefei is also looking for a creative and unique tourism logo, which should have a strong visual impact and fully reflect the essence of Hefei's tourism. It should have a clear pattern and concise colors, making it easy to recognize and remember. The submissions, which opened on April 15 and will last until May 31, should be sent to Room A407, Marketing department of Hefei Tourism Bureau, 100 East Road, Hefei City (230072).

Please add the words "Hefei tourism slogan and tourism logo image submission" in the lower right area of the envelope when mailing. For online submissions, please send to 1278899508@qq.com and mark "Hefei tourism slogan and tourism logo image submission" in the subject line. Please note that the author's name, company, mailing address, and contact phone number should be included.

Upon the completion of submissions, Hefei Tourism Bureau will organize experts to review all entries and pick the finalists. The selected works will be published in the local media. The Hefei tourism slogan winner will get a reward of 5,000 yuan ($802.5) and the second and third prize winners will get 3,000 yuan and 1,000 yuan respectively. Hefei’s tourism logo winner will get a reward of 6,000 yuan and 10 runners-up will get 600 yuan each.
