With the theme of "Abolishment and Establishment: thoughts about the future path of the agency", the 11th Huanqiu Tourism Forum was launched in Hefei city on February 21.

The forum was hosted by the Anhui Tourism Association and organized by Anhui Wanda Huanqiu International Travel Agency. In addition to senior staff from the association, the agency and Wanda group, representatives from over 30 overseas and another 30 domestic travel agencies attended the event, as did members of the press. This time, the forum focused on the expansion and breakthroughs of traditional travel agencies, including the reformation of their business models and how they could seize opportunities provided by the Internet.

After the opening ceremony, the Vice President of Wanda Group, Mo Yueming delivered a speech in which he expressed Wanda's determination to become a leader in the travel industry.

Many professionals from other Chinese travel agencies were invited to discuss the future development of the industry in several sub-forums.

During the forum, the Huanqiu agency signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Anhui branch of China Eastern Airlines. This is expected to result in some major projects for the agency. The focus of the cooperation will be on outbound routes especially to Southeast Asia as well as to some major destinations inside China.

In order to further solidify opportunities within the study tour market, the agency also organized a promotional campaign for the summer camp "Children travel in China". 150 representatives from travel and education organizations attended the meeting. The campaign aims to promote the development of study tours through the exploration and design of more and better summer camps.
