The Qiyun Mountain area in Xiuning county recently finished construction of a revetment that is a part of the comprehensive treatment of the Qiyun Mountain area. The project protects the ecology of the Xinanjiang Basin.

This project was designed by the provincial Water Conservancy Design Institute. The management committee of Qiyun Mountain and the town government are responsible for organizing construction. The project spans 1,000 meters and has an investment of about 3 million yuan ($480,000).

The newly built Qiyun Mountain ecological revetment integrates elements such as tourism, ecology, culture and recreation. It creates an elegant landscape in Hengjiang district of Qiyun Mountain.
