Solar ETC (TIANJIN) hosted the CENICOM Solar Thermal Power Generation System Commissioning Ceremony recently in Tianjin, marking the arrival of CENICOM System commercialization in the global marketplace.

During the ceremony, Solar ETC presented technological features, working processes and updated developments of the ENICOM System. Invited guests had the chance to see a 140 kW demo unit of the CENICOM System, located in the Solar ETC Tianjin factory facility.

Solar ETC (TIANJIN) was established in 2007, and is a wholly US-invested company in China specializing in the research and commercial application of solar thermal technology. Solar ETC owns the business, intellectual property and patents of CENICOM, a unique solar thermal energy system with true storage.

Since its establishment, Solar ETC has continued to adhere to the principal of technological innovation and contribution towards the welfare of the world.

CENICOM System is the only solar energy system with true storage function in the world allowing time separation of solar energy collection and power generation. Its five day storage capacity enables electric power generation 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The unique system is able to produce air medium temperature up to 1093 °C, which substantially increases conversion efficiency. The stable power supply makes it a versatile system that can be used on its own or connected to a local/state grid. No fossil fuels or combustion processes are used in the CENICOM System in any way, making it 100 percent pollution-free.
