A theme restaurant featuring Mao Zedong and the Red Guards is gaining popularity in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, capital of Hubei province. Maojiawan, literally the Bay of Mao Family, is decorated with red and green, the main colors during the revolutionary period about half a century ago. The symbolic red five-stars label the restaurant with far-remote memories from the ceiling to the chairs. The statues of Chairman Mao on display from walls to the reception desk are also reminding and instructing waiters and diners to serve the people.
