Yuantouzhu Island, or "Turtle Head Isle," is a popular tourist resort on Taihu Lake, and is China's second largest fresh water lake, and is located in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. It got its name because its shape resembles a turtle's head. The Yuantouzhu Park, at the most beautiful corner of Taihu Lake, is endowed by nature, combining both green hills and crystal-clear water. It is famous for its tourism, especially during the spring season from March to April when hundreds of cherry blossom trees start to bloom. [Photo/ bbs.fengniao.com] |
